Image of Bonnie Little Graham Bonnie Little Graham is a partner with Brustein & Manasevit, PLLC, a federal education and grants management law firm. Ms. Graham actively represents federal education grantees and subgrantees in the resolution of adverse audit and program review determinations and other administrative legal actions. She regularly assists clients with the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) and other administrative statutes and regulations, such as the General Education Provisions Act (GEPA) and the Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR), providing workshops and trainings, developing compliant policies and procedures, and reviewing contracts and other grant-related documentation for compliance with federal requirements. Ms. Graham also works with clients on the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), conducting mock-reviews of program implementation and advising on federal requirements, best practices and allowable flexibilities.

Session Description

On August 13, 2020, the Office of Management and Budget published the final updates to the Uniform Grants Guidance (2 CFR Part 200). While two rules went into immediate effect, all of the revisions will apply to the federal grants you receive on July 1, 2021. The UGG update affects procurement, pre-award costs, the liquidation period, period of availability, budget period, and more. Don’t miss what will be an exciting summarization of the new changes and how it will affect the administration of federal grants!
