                                                    Course Overview
Paraprofessionals: Supporting our Students will provide integral contextual knowledge and preparation for paraprofessionals working with k-12 Wyoming students. In order to better equip support staff throughout the state we look to provide more in-depth instruction on disabilities, identification, interventions, and legal obligations and parameters in order to better serve Wyoming students. Paraprofessionals, teacher's aids, or instructional aids are an imperative component in the classroom
there are many roles and duties a paraprofessional can be called on to complete. The many jobs of a paraprofessional in the classroom can include: data collection, behavior interventions, instructional support, assistance with health plans, among many others!
This course seeks to provide paraprofessionals with knowledge and skills that will help them assist both teachers and students in the classroom.
